C+D Artist – Jewelry: Donna Silvestri

Donna Silvestri’s hand-knotted and hand-crocheted collection is created with ancient-to-vintage materials. Her intricate knot patterns add style and delicacy to the jewelry, while increasing their sturdiness and appeal. Donna’s extensive background as a New York fabric designer has made her a master at choosing color concepts that make her pieces dramatic and appealing.  She founded on u in 1989 as a side line to her fashion stylist career in Manhattan’s Fashion District, and the line continued to thrive and grow after her move to Richmond in 1993.  Donna will be located at Booth 57 during the Craft + Design Show on Nov. 20-21.
