Seung-Hea Lee’s works are inspired by the multitude of shapes and forms she observes daily in nature. “I like exploring the interlinking and connective possibilities of different shapes,” she says; “I like my chains to come alive on the wearer’s body.” This movement and flexibility is performance art on the body. She received the Hoover & Strong Award for Design in Precious Metal at our 2009 Craft + Design Show. Seung-Hea Lee received her MFA from Rhode Island School of Design in 1998. She was awarded the RISD Award of Excellence upon graduation. Seung-Hea’s work has been featured in American Craft, Metalsmith Exhibition in Print and Jewelers Quarterly and included in Lark Books jewelry series. During the Craft + Design Show on Nov. 20-21, Seung-Hea will be located at Booth 4.
